Genaeral Description of Insulating Joint |
Insulating Joint is an indispensable fittings in natural gas and oil transfering system. it's mainly applied in oil & gas transferring and adjusting station. ItӮs major function is to insulate between transferring pipes and gas adjusting station to avoid from corrosion and prolong life span. Besides, it can also be buried underground. |
Structure of Insulating Joint |
Insulating Joint consist of following part: upper pipe, lower pipe, glove pipe, insulating part, sealing part and insulating coating. Between upper and lower pipe there are insulating part and sealing part to form a double sealing structure of insulating property. The glove pipe are beveled for welding or directly welding with the upper pipe to form a "sealing space " with insulating apart, upper pipe and lower pipes inside. Thiswill largely enhance the insulating effect and also the anti-pressure capability. |
Sealing style of Insulating Joint |
Insulating Joint has good insulating effect and long life-span. the sealing system is very important for insulating effect. At present, the insulating joint adopt "U" type sealing ring to achieve double insulating system. |
